Who We Are

Culminant Energy Development, LLC's Chairperson and Managing Director is Michael Madia, a 30-year plus energy/finance industry professional.

 - Current Senior Director for a North American energy asset investment alliance.

 - Former Managing Director and Operating Partner for the Infrastructure group of a $200 billion asset manager.

-  Former Chief Operating Officer of a successful IPP company, and an offshore wind developer. Strong pool of consultants able to provide expertise on new engagements.

 - Involved in over $8 billion of project transactions; US and international.

 - Experience includes hydro, wind, gas, coal, waste coal, IGCC, diesel gen-set and oil-fired projects, from greenfield through acquisitions.

 - Led team that sold an IPP entity for approximately $1.5 billion, representing a significant gain for owner.

 - Experience in project development, finance, M&A, asset management, strategy, real estate / site control, engineering, management consulting and operations.

 - MBA Finance, BS Electrical Engineering (with honors)

Victor Bolano (Senior Vice President and lead on international projects):

 - Registered Professional Engineer with over 30 years of experience in the power, environmental and consulting engineering sectors.

 - Functional strengths include business and project development, project management, engineering, and project finance.

 - Extensive experience in the U.S., Latin American, and European markets. Outside of these three regions, he has also worked in various other countries such as Turkey and Malaysia.

 - Education: MBA in Finance and International Business, an MS in Civil and Environmental Engineering, and a BS in Civil Engineering (with honors)

 Extensive network of industry colleagues, such as:

     * Executive with 25-year plus experience in economic modeling, finance and assessment, including domestic and cross border transactions in the energy, housing and asset leasing businesses.
